These board-certified infectious disease physicians practice with Infectious Disease Consultants of Hampton Roads, a division of Chesapeake Regional Medical Group.

Dr. Billy B. RichmondDr. Richmond has a medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va. He completed an internship and residency in infectious diseases at the U.S. Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. He also completed a residency at the U.S. Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.
Dr. Romulo received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and The Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I. He then obtained his clinical and research fellowship training in the Brown University Program in Infectious Diseases in Providence, R.I. where he continues to be an adjunct faculty member.
Dr. Romulo recently completed six years of service on the technical Review Committee of the Global (TB) Drug Facility, based at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Dr. Schaefer attended medical school at The New Jersey Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed an internship and residency at Cornell Cooperating Hospitals-Memorial-Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York City and North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y. He also completed his fellowship in infectious diseases at Cornell University Medical School Memorial-Sloan Kettering Hospital.
Dr. Schwab attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed an internship, residency and research fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Dr. Schwab also completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Yale University in New Haven, Conn.
Dr. Agrawal received her medical degree from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India. She completed residencies at Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India and State University of New York in Buffalo, N.Y. Dr. Agrawal also completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at State University of New York in Buffalo, N.Y.
