A mammogram is essential to protect your health. To make it easier for you to get this life-saving test, Chesapeake Regional Medical Center offers appointments from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call 757.312.6137 to schedule an appointment.
Cancer Resource Center
The Cancer Resource Center at the Sidney M. Oman Cancer Treatment Center has available educational brochures as well as videos and books for loan. Internet access is also available to research cancer-related sites.

Breast Cancer Support Group
If you have breast cancer, you are not alone. We are here for you. Members of the breast cancer support group call and/or visit each potential participant at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, and provide information and materials to help her through her difficult ordeal. At the meetings, women with breast cancer from diagnosis to five years post-diagnosis, share concerns and exchange information. Health care professionals speak on topics of interest. Also, members will embrace, comfort, encourage and honor your courageous journey to fight cancer. The group meetings are facilitated by a breast cancer survivor and an oncology nurse.
The Breast Cancer Support Group, which has been meeting in the Lifestyle Center, has moved its meetings to the Oman Cancer Center - Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, 800 Battlefield Blvd., North, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. Free and open to the public. Register by calling 757.312.6132 or email.
