Adult/Child/Infant Heartsaver CPR

This is a three-hour course that trains parents, teachers, babysitters, day care workers and the lay public to perform one-person CPR and obstructed air-way management. Participants will learn how to perform CPR on persons from infant to adult. A two-year certification card is issued upon successful demonstration of skills. This course is recommended for construction companies, professional offices and industries. Cost of $55 includes the manual.

Basic First Aid

This three-hour first aid course teaches the skills needed to recognize and treat emergencies. Cost of $50 includes the manual.

Healthcare Provider CPR

This comprehensive one-day course includes one- and two-person CPR and obstructed airway management for adults, children and infants. You will also learn how to use barrier devices and an automated external defibrillator. A two-year certification card is issued upon successful demonstration of skills and passing a written test. A pocket mask/barrier device is required for this course and may be purchased before class for $15 at the front desk. Cost of $60 includes the manual. No employee discounts.

Adult/Child Heartsaver with First Aid

This four-hour course integrates training in First aid and Adult-Child Heartsave CPR. Cost is $75 and includes the manual. Call 757.312.6132 for an updated schedule or to register.

Teen CPR

This three-hour course trains teens the basic skills of CPR, airway management and safety on infants and children 8 and older. Cost of $50 includes manual.

Osteoporosis Screenings

Osteoporosis, or brittle bone disease, can develop silently, often with no symptoms until a bone breaks. A heel bone density screen can provide early indications of bone loss. Screenings cost $25 at the Lifestyle Center. (A $5 discount is available when both osteoporosis and total cholesterol screenings are done on the same date.) Phone 757.312.6132 for schedules.

Total Cholesterol Screenings

Most cholesterol screenings don't give you a complete picture of your health. They just tell you a total cholesterol count. But our test includes the complete lipid profile, which explains total cholesterol, "good" cholesterol, "bad" cholesterol and triglycerides. You need all these numbers to truly know if your cholesterol is a problem. While you're here, we'll also measure your blood sugar and blood pressure. The total cost for all tests is $25.
