Chesapeake Regional Medical Center's family of services With the goal to preserve health and prevent illness whenever possible, Chesapeake General Hospital established several affiliates over the years. In 1998, all the affiliates were combined under one name. Now, as a unified health provider, Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is bringing a broad range of care to the people of southeast Virginia and northeast North Carolina. The hospital is local, independent, community-focused organization offering area residents what they want: high-quality healthcare delivered by people who openly display their caring, concern and compassion. Supporting our organization, the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation is a volunteer board formed to carry out and support the charitable, scientific, and educational purposes of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. Their efforts raising funds make it possible to support facility expansion, renovation, and endowment.
