Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation is committed to supporting the mission of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center: improving the quality of life for our community. Because of the commitment of our community to the foundation, we have been able to provide funds to support the recent expansion of the Emergency Department, which serves more than 65,000 patients each year. In addition, we have provided support to many other areas of the hospital, including the Cancer Treatment Center, the Mother/Baby Unit and the Breast Center.

Our greatest needs - unrestricted funds

Unrestricted gifts, because they can be used where the need is greatest, provide Chesapeake Regional Medical Center the flexibility in helping to sustain our mission and uphold our promise to provide the best healthcare for our community.

Individuals, corporations and organizations can also support specific areas of the hospital, such as the Breast Center, Cancer Treatment Center, Emergency Deparment, Mother/Baby Unit or Nursing Education.

Tribute giving

Memorial gifts help to remember fondly those we have lost. A memorial donation is a meaningful tribute that helps Chesapeake Regional Medical Center provide the excellent, quality care our community has come to expect.

Honor gifts are a wonderful way to acknowledge special people or life events, such as the arrival of a new baby. Or, consider making a donation in honor of a doctor, nurse, healthcare provider or other person that has had a meaningful impact on your life.

Notification of your donation will be sent to the person or family you designate without disclosing the amount of your gift, and your generosity will benefit the programs and services of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.
