Chesapeake Regional Medical Center's Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center uses a comprehensive approach for patients with slow-to-heal wounds.

The Hyperbaric Medical Center operates 24 hours a day and is staffed to handle emergency cases.

Staffed by physicians and clinicians certified in both hyperbaric medicine and wound care, Chesapeake Regional specializes in aiding diabetics, patients with poor leg and foot circulation and immobile patients with healing difficulties.

Our dedicated staff combines the latest technologies and healing techniques compression therapies, infection and nutrition management to promote healing and prevent recurrence. Plus you get the individualized attention and preventative education every patient deserves.

Hyperbarics

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is among just a few hospitals in the region using hyperbaric, or oxygen-filled chambers to heal a range of challenging wounds and conditions.

Richmond has been affiliated with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center for quite a few years. He presently is the director of Infection Control here as well. Richmond is certified in hyperbaric medicine and  wound care.
