Chesapeake Health taking applications for nursing scholarship

April 20, 2004 — Chesapeake Health is now accepting applications for the Liz Kemp Scholarship Fund. The $1,000 scholarship is open to Chesapeake public high school students and children of Chesapeake General Hospital employees who plan to enroll in an accredited nursing degree program.

The scholarship is in memory of Liz Kemp, a long-time Chesapeake General Hospital director of education who died in 2002.
