Chesapeake General Hospital appoints Vice President of Nursing
Sept. 28, 2004 — Margaret Conklin, R.N., has been named Chesapeake General Hospital's interim vice president of nursing for the next year.
Conklin had served for the last two years as director of maternal child and women’s health. Previous to that, she served as director of birthing suites, maternity admissions and high risk antenatal departments at the Women's Hospital of Greensboro in North Carolina. She has also worked in the public health sector.
The new vice president holds a master's degree in public health administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and bachelor's of nursing from the University of Vermont.
