CGH’s new Sleep Center opens with a celebration

November 21, 2006 — Chesapeake Health will hold a grand opening of its new regional Sleep Center at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan.10, at the Lifestyle Center.

The public is invited to attend. The open house will feature tours, giveaways, refreshments and staff introductions.

The center houses four adult outpatient beds. It brings innovative technologies and solutions to an age-old problem that affects millions. Research shows that some 7,700 adults in Chesapeake seek treatment for their sleep-related problems annually.

Dr. Vandana Dhawan will serve as the center’s medical director. Sonya Blowe is the operations manager.
