Chesapeake Health bottles up the best it has to offer for annual Baby Fair
Feb. 19, 2007 — New and expecting parents, grandparents and family members don’t have to pacify their excitement any longer. Chesapeake Health’s annual Baby Fair extravaganza will take place from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, March 11 from in Chesapeake General Hospital’s lobby.
Almost 60,000 babies have started their lives at the hospital’s 21-year-old BirthPlace, making it the area’s busiest labor and delivery service.
During this year’s fair, visitors can tour the hospital’s BirthPlace and learn about everything from anesthesia, labor and delivery to breastfeeding, diaper choice and car seats. Literature will be available help expecting parents learn about pregnancy, childbirth and what preparations to take for that bundle of joy.
Community vendors will also display their wares. Door prizes and plenty of giveaways will be available.
