CGH partners with B. M. Williams
Feb. 19, 2007 — Chesapeake Health has officially “adopted” the students at B.M Williams Primary School.
Chris Mosley, CEO and president of Chesapeake Health, and Craig K. Mills, principal of B.M. Williams, celebrate the signing of a partnership agreement between the hospital and the school on Jan. 25.
The “adoption” means that the organization’s employees will partner with the Battlefield Boulevard school on a variety of educational programs throughout the coming years.
Employees are already participating in reading sessions with the students. Other projects include providing the school’s goody bags for its Club Success program, having employees speak at career day, beautifying the school, participating in family fun and fitness night and helping with Teacher Appreciation Week. The students also have plans to give back to Chesapeake Health. They plan on providing artwork for patients on special occasions, making posters for hospital week and drawing a giant portrait of CEO and President Chris Mosley.
