Dr. Edward J. Coleman is a board-certified thoracic surgeon with over 35 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York School of Medicine, in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Coleman has built several successful cardiovascular surgery teams across the country while also developing processes that positively impact patients. His multidisciplinary approach, knowledge and expertise optimize both care delivery and patient safety. Dr. Coleman is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Surgeons. He is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and was a USA Triathlon Age Group National Champion in 2010-2012.
