Registered Dietitians offer individualized nutrition counseling to help individuals and families understand the dietary recommendations and take responsibility for their nutritional health needs.

About the Programs

Counseling sessions are conducted by Registered Dietitians, experienced in medical nutrition therapy and health education. Sessions are held on an individual basis. Family members are
encouraged to attend when appropriate. Counseling includes three components.

  • Assessment of individual health including current dietary intake, exercise patterns, and lifestyle habits.
  • Goal setting to determine achievable health outcomes as well as body composition expectations.
  • Establishing an Action Plan to implement appropriate lifelong dietary changes. Action Plans are tailored to each client situation.
