Our Health risk Assessment helps employees evaluate their lifestyles to make informed decisions about their health.Through confidential online questionnaires and health screenings, we'll creates a personalized report for each employee that helps guide healthier lifestyle choices.

What's more, your organization will receive a group report that paints a company-wide picture of health risk factors. Then, we follow up with "lunch and learn' presentations that promote ways your company and employees can reduce those risks.

From personal trainers to group exercise classes to supervised exercise training that address specific health challenges, the Lifestyle Center offers your staff the opportunity to get fit in a safe, comfortable, medically supervised environment.

Nutrition Education

Eating well is an essential part of preventative medicine and the treatment of many illnesses. We'll assess employees' eating, exercise and lifestyle habits, help them establish health goals and create customized individual action plans.

Comprehensive Diabetes Program

Diabetes is a chronic, progressive disease that affects nearly 21 million people in the United States - your employees could be among them, or at risk.

As part of our Wellness in the Workplace program, Chesapeake Regional offers diabetes education at the Lifestyle Center. If any of your employees are diagnosed or shown to be at risk for Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, hypoglycemia or gestational diabetes, our educational programs can help them control the impacts through medication, nutrition and exercise.

Program includes:

  • One-hour appointment with a registered nurse
  • One-hour appointment with a registered dietitian
  • Three 2 ½ -hour intensive educational classes focused on diabetes care, nutrition and diabetes-centered food preparation techniques
